The ”Wieliczka” Salt Mine had been functioning for many centuries and ended its activities in 2007. It is currently listed as a world cultural and natural heritage site by UNESCO and is visited by over one million visitors a year. It will be our pleasure to show you this magnificent place. Cover a three-kilometer distance of salt corridors, 135 meters deep underground (442ft).

Please remember:
– There are overall 800 steps to climb; first 350 at the beginning take you down into the mine, therefore remember to wear comfortable shoes
– Some parts of the route are adapted for wheelchairs. Earlier bookings in this case are recommended
– Please take warm clothes. Temperatures underground range between 14° C (57° F)  and 16° C (61° F) .
