Zakopane, The Tatra Mountains, the most popular ski resort is located just a short distance from Krakow. The beauty of the country around Zakopane, the clear mountain streams, the immense forest and most of all, the landscape of the Tatra mountains are worth making an effort to enjoy. Zakopane, set in a valley surrounded by sky high jagged Tatran peaks and alpine meadows. This trip will give you a chance to see some fabulous mountain landscapes and also to get to know the rich culture of the Tatra highlanders.

This trip will give you a chance to see some famous  mountain landscapes. You will see Koscieliska Valley,  one of the most beautiful valley. Koscieliska Valley created a long and deep rocky gorge with walls that are called gates and approach close to each other. In the Koscieliska Valley there are several, very popular and accessible caves, including Mrozna Jaskinia (cave Frost). The moderate loop trip from the entrance to the furthest end of Koscieliska Valley including the Mrozna cave. You should be prepared for a 5,5 km walk ( 1,5 h) one way

If you like walking we can offer you longer trail. Instead of visiting Zakopane and Koscieliska valley you can see Morskie Oko (Sea Eye) lake is located in Tatra Mountains, Poland at Fish Stream Valley. The lake has postglacial origins. The lake has cristal clear water (clearness up to 12 meters deep) what gives amazing colour. Sea Eye lake attracts thousands tourists every year who can take a rest in the oldest mountain refuge. Sea Eye lake is located at 1405 meters above the sea level. You need to go for an enjoyable 9-kilometer long walk on foot to admire lake and the surrounding area or in a horse carriage.
